Other than rumors about the 2017 NBA Draft and LeBron James coming to Los Angeles, Julius Randle’s crazy workouts and even crazier results might be the story of the Lakers’ offseason.
Randle is entering a year in which the Lakers can offer him an extension before he hits restricted free agency in the summer of 2018, and the young power forward is not playing around.
First there were the videos of his crazy workouts in what appeared the be an alley behind a 7-11. Then it was just revealed that Randle just had the grittiest personal trainer and training regimen of all-time.
After that Randle took some time to work out with his future teammate Paul George, and after that he showed off the results of all of his hard work on social media for the first time.
That first reveal was astounding, but this latest one — courtesy of the Instagram of his fiancee, Kendra Shaw — might be even more jaw-dropping (h/t Sheen Lee of Lakers Outsiders):

So it appears that in addition to averaging a triple-double (with one of the statistics being “opponents sent to the hospital”), Randle is also here to remind us all that we didn’t meet our summer fitness goals.
