Workout season is officially underway and just as everyone predicted, the first potential draft pick the Los Angeles Lakers took a look at is Tacko Fall.
This bit of information led to this exchange between my wife and me.
Me: The Lakers had their first rookie work out.
Wife: Oh, yeah. Who was it?
Me: Tacko Fall.
Wife: You mean Lonzo Ball?
Me: No, Tacko Fall.
Wife: Have you been drinking?
Fall, the 7’6” center from the University of Central Florida would be quite the stretch for the Lakers unless they purchase a pick late in the second round, as he’s currently ranked 92nd of 100 draft prospects by DraftExpress. He averaged 10.9 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game last year.
According to the latest reports, Fall has yet to hire an agent and seems likely to return to UCF for his junior year as a result.
Fall announced his workout via Instagram, taking a very sweaty picture with Magic Johnson. On a semi-related note, Fall is really, really tall.
