As 2017 NBA Draft prospects and the Los Angeles Lakers' young core have filtered through the team's El Segundo practice facility over the last few weeks, Timofey Mozgov's name has been absent from the list of those taking part in the players' voluntary workouts.
That's somewhat understandable. Most NBA veterans don't show up for voluntary workouts with young players at their team's practice facility in June, because they need to rest their bodies or can be trusted to maintain their own physical fitness over the offseason due to their experience level.
In an Instagram video posted Tuesday, Mozgov showed off what he's been working on this summer:
Okay, fine, obviously Mozgov is doing more than that to stay in shape over the NBA offseason, but it's WAY more fun to pretend that the Lakers' second-highest paid player's summer training routine is exclusively made up of him doing curls with his son at a public park.
#MuscleWatch2017 is off to a good start.
