D’Angelo Russell deletes tweet about Lonzo Ball for some reason

NBA: Washington Wizards at Los Angeles Lakers Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA Draft Lottery is Tuesday, and with the Los Angeles Lakers having a better chance to lose their pick than they do to keep it (46.9 percent) tension is at an all-time high as fans look for reasons to hope the team will keep its pick.

No one knows if D’Angelo Russell’s latest tweet is a positive sign for the team’s chances (probably not) or if it was even about Lonzo Ball’s game (he recently rapped over a Drake song and aquitted himself pretty well) but LET’S READ WAY TOO MUCH INTO IT:

Is Russell demanding to play with Lonzo Ball?

Does he think their games fit well together?

Was he just randomly watching film of Lonzo Ball while stuck in an airport??

Lakers Twitter legend @basquiatball shared a few theories in an amazing thread.

We’ll probably never know, but it’s just the latest ammo for conspiracy theorists, following Luke Walton making it sound like the Lakers are guaranteed to keep their pick. The lottery can’t get here soon enough.
