The Los Angeles Lakers have officially been bitten by the injury bug once again. The team’s two main front court reserves, Larry Nance, Jr. and Ivica Zubac, are both listed as questionable for the team’s road game against the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday, according to Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times.
Zubac (quad contusion) already missed the Lakers’ loss to the New Orleans Pelicans Sunday, and Ganguli reports that he did not practice Monday. Nance (sprained wrist) did, but his wrist was wrapped during the portion of practice open to reporters.
If Nance and Zubac can’t go, the Lakers may be forced to dust off either Thomas Robinson or Luol Deng. Timofey Mozgov got some minutes in Zubac’s stead Sunday, and he may continue to figure into the rotation if the rookie is still nursing an injury by Tuesday.
