The NBA’s three-point contest just got a little more Swaggy. Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young was selected to participate in the All-Star weekend event, the NBA announced. He will join defending champion Klay Thompson, Eric Gordon, Kyrie Irving, Wesley Matthews, CJ McCollum and Kemba Walker. part of the Saturday night shooting showcase in New Orleans.
Young has certainly earned his spot in the exhibition. The Lakers starting shooting guard has been torching teams from deep as he shoots a career-high 42.4 percent from deep, which is the sixth-highest percentage in the league among players to attempt more than 200 threes.
Plus, merit aside, who DIDN’T want to see Young in the three-point shooting contest. The possibilities are endless. Will he flip the heater on and shoot like 90 percent as Klay Thompson looks on in awe? Will he miss the majority of his attempts and celebrate anyway in an ode to one of his most noteworthy career highlights?
If Young really wants to set himself up for success, he should station Lou Williams at each rack and steal the ball from him before shooting, because according to Silver Screen and Roll Stats and Information, Young is shooting 100 percent on threes he stole from Williams this season:

No matter what happens, this is going to be amazing.
