The Los Angeles Lakers are officially done with 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans after Nick Young lost in the first round on the 3-point contest.

Even in defeat, there is never a dull moment with the man known as Swaggy-P, and he offered a few reasons for his loss.
Nick Young planned to put his money ball rack in the corner. Changed his mind last minute. He claims @JClark5on gave him that bad advice.

Nick Young on first round exit: "First-time jitters."

Nick Young thought he was overthinking too much on the second rack.

Despite taking an L, Young says he may not be done with the event just yet:
"They need me, the fans like me," Nick Young, as he says he would like to compete in the 3 point contest again next year.

Whether Young will be in a Lakers uniform next season is unknown right now, but whether or not the team moves him at the trade deadline or he leaves in free agency, an especially if he remains in a Lakers uniform, the Los Angeles native would certainly be a welcome fixture when the contest comes to his hometown next year.
Either way, he probably won’t be taking advice on it from Jordan Clarkson again.
