From the moment D’Angelo Russell celebrated the Los Angeles Lakers signing Timofey Mozgov in free agency by throwing virtual lob passes to him in NBA 2K and declaring that he was better than Karl-Anthony Towns, it was clear the Lakers had a beautiful bromance on their hands.
With the Lakers officially hitting the road for their annual “Grammy Trip” (when the team clears out of Staples Center for the aforementioned awards show) and Russell’s birthday coming up, Mozgov had a chance to reciprocate the love.
