The Los Angeles Lakers almost snuck a win out of STAPLES Center against the Golden State Warriors, and that was in large part thanks to Brandon Ingram stepping up for a career-high 32 points.
Going 12-of-21 from the field, and stepping up to the line for seven free-throw attempts (and making six of said charity baskets), all while matching up with Kevin Durant, made for arguably the most memorable moment of Ingram’s career yet.
Now I get to sit back and let the highlights do the talking:
First of all, the Warriors should never, ever, ever let Zaza Pachulia guard Ingram again. Second of all, damn that was nice to watch. This was a great example of Ingram’s full offensive kit on display, but he’s still not quite a smooth operator in the flow yet.
What a game from Ingram, though. His ability to meticulously slice through a defense to get to the rim, and finish around contact, can be dumbfounding.
