The Lakers will try and take advantage of an ailing Warriors squad

The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Golden State Warriors for the first time this season Wednesday night at STAPLES Center. With Nick Young already getting the trash talk going, it promises to be an exciting game.

Unfortunately, there’s a chance Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant don’t suit up as both were listed as questionable for the game, according to Mercury News’ Logan Murdock. But even without Curry and KD, the Lakers will have their hands full with the Warriors’ All-Star supporting cast.

Klay Thompson is dialed in from long range so far this season, averaging 20.2 points per game on 46.2 shooting from behind the arc. Meanwhile, reigning Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down, averaging 10 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.

It’s not going to be easy, but if the Lakers can manage the watered-down Warriors, they could end the month of November on a high note.

Time: 7:30 p.m. PT

TV: Spectrum SportsNet, NBA TV, CSBA
