Metta World Peace is playing in the BIG3 League on the perfect team

We’ll see Ron Ron back on the floor soon enough!

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix Suns Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

It’s one thing to have Metta World Peace back involved with the Los Angeles Lakers organization as a player development coach with the South Bay Lakers. It’s a farm more interesting thing to hear Ron Ron will be back on the floor competing again.

World Peace will be joining Ice Cube’s BIG3 league on a team that will reunite him with Stephen Jackson, as a member of the “Killer 3s” when the second season gets underway. It’s looking like Chauncey Billups plans on sticking around too — you know, one of the reasons he reportedly wasn’t all that interested in taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers’ front office job.

Metta made the announcement on Sports Illustrated in a wide-spanning interview with Jon Tayler. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of Ron Ron, with him diving into why he’s joining the league, what he thinks about Lonzo, and much more.

Jackson’s already shared an early picture of the group together via the magic of photoshop. As we all know, once it is shopped, it is law to abide by:
