Brandon Ingram has been spreading his wings a bit as he plays in a groove to start 2017, and watching him put it together little by little has been awesome. Take, for instance, the fact that he’s averaging 4.1 rebounds per game. That’s not a spectacular number, but the spectacle is watching him pluck these missed shots out of the air.
Ingram corrals one here against the Heat, takes it up the court and steps his way around Miami for a nice layup. A sequence like this is one of the ways Ingram can hurt opposing defenses with his ability to handle the ball:
