Watch Jordan Clarkson and Goran Dragic get ejected for fighting during Lakers-Heat

More than the basketball got ugly during the third quarter.

The Los Angeles Lakers game against the Miami HEAT got interrupted during the third quarter when a fracas broke out below the Miami basket. Jordan Clarkson and Goran Dragic were playing physical with one another and frustrations boiled over into a fight:

Both players were ejected, and HEAT forward James Johnson received a technical for coming towards the Lakers bench and Julius Randle.

The Lakers actually got lucky here, because as this video shows, Lakers assistant coach Mark Madsen’s quick rotation saved rookie forward Brandon Ingram from leaving the bench and earning himself an automatic ejection and suspension:

All things considered, all parties involved are surely thankful a shockingly chippy matchup between the two teams with the most losses in the NBA didn’t escalate into something ugly.
