After missing the last week of activity for the Los Angeles Lakers with an MCL sprain, calf strain and bone bruise, the team announced that D’Angelo Russell was a ‘full participant’ in their Sunday practice.
Russell was originally slated to miss 1-2 weeks, and his completion of a full practice would seem to indicate he’s still on that timetable. He is currently listed as questionable for the Lakers’ game on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets, but as Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News notes, Russell’s status could change based on the Lakers’ practice on Monday.
Julius Randle is also out with pneumonia and is slated to be re-evaluated on Monday. It’s not a report from the Lakers’ medical staff, but it’s worth noting that he told Medina that he’s “feeling better.”
