Media Day is typically a glorious day, breaking open a little basketball joy as the nuclear summer comes to an end for hoops heads. Everyone has their best foot forward, and it’s akin to the first day of school as everyone in front of a microphone oozes optimism for a clean slate.
Wait till the games start when that all changes.
For the time being, though, it’s fun to enjoy these things. Why not enjoy a glimpse of Brandon Ingram in a Lakers jersey?

(Pardon Jordan for having flashbacks of the tank commander days)
Perhaps it’s the too-ridiculous-to-be-made-up nuggets like D’Angelo Russell getting bristly with Vic the Brick:

No Lakers media day would be complete without some sort of gem from Metta World Peace:

No Anthony Browns were posterized in the snapping of this photo

Not a bad time to be a Laker fan at all.
