The Los Angeles Lakers came to terms on a two-year deal with Marcelo Huertas on Thursday afternoon, and at least one of his teammates seems pretty excited to have him back:
The maestro is back @Huertas09

When watching Huertas’ selfless style of play last year, it’s pretty easy to see why a player like Nance, Jr. who needs shots created for him would be thrilled to have him back. Huertas’ response would seem to imply he’s ready to continue their partnership off of the bench next year:
Lol thanks Nance!!!! Looking forward to hook you up with a few dimes! https://t.co/e7CWSvfurY

Nance, Jr. isn’t the only one happy about Huertas’ return, though. It appears the 33-year old sophomore’s strong showing against the Golden State Warriors towards the end of the regular season last year made him more than a bit of a fan-favorite, judging by the replies to his tweet:

“Curry Stopper” might not be quite as catchy as “the Catalyst,” but it is an awesome nickname nonetheless. Not to mention accurate (cc: @NBATeamsTryingToBeatGoldenState)
