The Los Angeles Lakers made arguably the biggest trade of the summer* in acquiring Jose Calderon, Jose Calderon’s contract, and (maybe?) two second round picks from the Chicago Bulls in order to allow the Windy City to open up the necessary cap space to sign Dwyane Wade.
In the second episode of Locked On Lakers, Anthony Irwin and Harrison Faigen discuss what they thought of the move, as well as extended impressions of the rest of the Lakers offseason. Also, what do we think of the Lakers’ rumored interest in Drew Gooden, and who does Anthony think the team should target to fill out the rest of the bench?

(Editor’s note: News of Marcelo Huertas re-signing broke right after we got off the air, so we’ll have more thoughts on that and much more in tomorrow’s podcast)
