Update: An MRI revealed Larry Nance, Jr. sprained his wrist, but that there is no break or ligament damage, according to the Lakers. He is listed as day-to-day. Original story follows.

The Los Angeles Lakers' Las Vegas Summer League was going without a hitch, even after blowing a huge lead to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it all came crashing down along with Larry Nance, Jr. The second-year big man was on his way to the basket late in the fourth quarter, jumped toward the rim and found himself tumbling to the hardwood. Nance came down hard on his right hand, and while the Lakers will reevaluate his status Friday following preliminary X-rays, his self diagnosis didn't sound very encouraging.

Nance and the Lakers will wait overnight to look at what comes next, but he went ahead and let Ivica Zubac know whats' going on. It's a broken wrist, according to Zubac and our own Harrison Faigen, who's on scene:

Updates as they come, as always.
