Julius Randle was not on the Lakers’ official roster for Las Vegas Summer League, which led some to wonder if the third-year forward was taking it easy this offseason. Julius... um, disagrees with that assessment:
Jokester.. Try again, and if youre going to tweet my workouts don't just say what I do in the mornings. Good try tho https://t.co/4CyYVW7YJQ

The tweet Randle was quoting was from Mike Bresnahan of Time Warner Cable Sportsnet, and seemed fairly innocuous, but Randle may not have liked the “rest” phrasing, I guess:
Guessing Randle's skipping summer ball to rest. He's been doing private two-a-days: weight-lifting in a.m., working with shot coach in p.m.

Randle does look to have been working hard this offseason, as a tweet from the Sports Facility shows off:
Our sand pit makes for an intense training environment ..... @Lakers @j30_randle just experienced that firsthand. pic.twitter.com/8weMw4sOy3

I guess running in sand would make most people a little irritable at the suggestion they are resting, even if it didn’t appear meant as a dig.
