Kobe Bryant finishes second in jersey sales

The Black Mamba couldn't hold off the unanimous MVP for the top spot.

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Kobe Bryant may be done, but the money keeps rolling in.

Bryant finished second in jersey sales for the 2015-16 season, just behind two-time league MVP Stephen Curry. Curry was the top selling jersey in 48 of the 50 states.

Bryant's retirement tour certainly contributed to the sales, but his play on the court was abysmal. The Laker legend finished with the worst FG percentage of his career (35%) as Los Angeles limped to a 17-65 record. Bryant certainly helped his sales with a 60-point performance in the final game of his career.

LeBron James finished third in sales and rookie Kristaps Porzingis finished fourth.
