Kobe Bryant is entering the last stretch of his farewell season, with just four games left in his 20th and final campaign. So who better to stop by on the latest episode of the Lakers Lounge than Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News?
With their new book Kobe Bryant: Laker for Life available on Kindle right now and paperback May 1st on Amazon.com, Mark joined us to talk about his experience covering Kobe. We discussed his most memorable stories about Bryant, including what it was like the night that Kobe tore his Achilles and his experience going back to Bryant's high school to tell the story of his prep school days.
We also touched on Byron Scott's relationships with his players, the recent D'Angelo Russell-Nick Young controversy and whether or not Russell has started to regain the locker room, this summer's free agency, and more.
