VIDEO: Putting Kobe Bryant's Lakers career in historical perspective

The crew over at BLSS blog had another awesome video, this time commemorating the Mamba's legendary career.

Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

Kobe Bryant's career has been filled with numerous records. His 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors is the second highest scoring game in NBA history, and his 12 made threes against the Seattle SuperSonics is tied with Stephen Curry and Donyell Marshall for the most in a single-game in the history of the league.

There is plenty of numeric trivia like this associated with Bryant's career, and now that he played the final game of his career on Thursday, he's done creating new additions to it. To commemorate Bryant's career and walk through a ton of these notable numbers, the crew over at Biggest Little Student Section made this awesome hand-drawn animated video.

From his rookie year, to the threepeat era Lakers, to the recent farewell filled home stretch of his career, the video puts all of Bryant's career in historic perspective, and it's worth a watch for any fans of the Lakers and Kobe:

So yeah, that Kobe guy was pretty good, huh?
