D'Angelo Russell has reportedly apologized to his Los Angeles Lakers teammate Nick Young for the leak of a video featuring Young allegedly admitting to infidelity coming to light last week, according to Mike Bresnahan of the L.A. Times. Bresnahan also reports that Young has accepted the apology.
The video in question leaked about a week ago, and an ESPN report published last night revealed that Russell has been "isolated" by teammates since it became public, with anecdotal examples of doing like Lou Williams getting up and walking away when Russell sat down next to him. While it remains to be seen if this apology entirely fixes the locker room issue, it is the first step for Russell to regain the trust of his teammates.
The Lakers play against the Miami Heat at home on Wednesday night, and Russell is scheduled to speak to the media before the game. Stay tuned to Silver Screen and Roll for more on this developing story.
