The Los Angeles Lakers are back home after being embarrassed by the Jazz in Utah, hosting Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat. There are just eight games left in the season and everything is falling apart, but Kobe Bryant's trudging along trying to keep his shoulder together at the very least. Expect the Mamba Wednesday night after he proclaimed he's "damn sure" going to do his best to be on the court in the final moments of his career.
Unfortunately cloudy skies continue cast a shadow on Staples Center, this time a scandal involving D'Angelo Russell outing Nick Young in video that leaked. For details on that, head over here.
The game should be all about Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant, though. Wade was the next great guard to rush up to the Larry O'Brien trophy and take it for himself following Kobe. He's a generational talent that doesn't get the kind of coverage of many of his contemporaries, but Wade's been barking up Bryant's tree for years.
They've shared battles, Olympic gold medals, All-Star weekends and plenty of Christmas time together. Now, they'll share the court one last time. Enjoy the game, which you should crank up so you can hear it over the noise surrounding it.
