Lakers vs. Jazz Final Score: Jazz absolutely crush the Lakers in a 123-75 blowout

The Los Angeles Lakers showed up to Utah but didn't bother playing a game of basketball against the Jazz in a 123-75  blowout loss. Rodney Hood went full Steph Curry through the first half, scoring 30 points while draining eight threes. The game was already out of hand at that point, but Utah kept on jamming on the Lakers through the second half.

The best part of the game for Lakers fans, by a wide margin, was an incredible tribute from the Jazz to Kobe Bryant as they said goodbye to the hero and villain he was to their fans. Utah proceeded to make sure this game wasn't forgotten any time soon, running up the score and flirting with handing the Lakers their worst loss ever.

Kobe shot just 1-of-11 from the field for five points. D'Angelo Russell didn't score until the 3:43 mark in the fourth quarter, going 2-of-11 and had one assist on the night. Hood may have been the human torch through the first half, but he didn't score another point through the remainder of the game. The Jazz were rolling over the Lakers so hard they didn't even need it, though.

The season has been filled with ugly games but this one might be the most rotten apple in the bunch. The Jazz set a new season-high in scoring while the Lakers matched the largest margin of defeat in franchise history. There's nothing left to say, and there's only a bitter-sweet eight games left of whatever this year has become.
