Rudy Gobert tweets that he fouled Julius Randle with his, um, ‘third arm’

Well that is certainly a headline I never thought I’d write.

The Utah Jazz beat the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night, but just because they won doesn’t mean they were happy with all of the calls in the contest. Rudy Gobert (always an enjoyable presence on Twitter) took social media after the game to creatively express his, err, displeasure with his monstrous putback dunk being called off due to an offensive foul.

Here’s a screengrab of the contact the referees called. You be the judge:

Did Gobert catch Randle a bit with his third arm? Yes.

Does this all matter? No.

Is it hilarious that an NBA player actually took the time to tweet about it? It is absolutely a top-five non-basketball moment of the season so far.
