The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, thus unceremoniously ending their three-game win streak and giving them their first home loss of the year.
Veteran small forward Luol Deng continued to struggle in the loss, going 1-5 from the field in 30 minutes while getting torched by Harrison Barnes at times. It continued an inauspicious start to the year for the Lakers’ big offseason acquisition, who has averaged just 6.8 points and 6.4 rebounds on 34.4 percent shooting so far this season.
Is it time for the Lakers to worry about Deng? Why might he be struggling? Did Luke Walton play D’Angelo Russell enough in the second half? Host Harrison Faigen took those questions and many more in our special postgame, live edition of Locked on Lakers.
