Clarkson: “(Mozgov’s head) is just like a magnet”

This takes using one’s head to new heights.

NBA: Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Lakers Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

You ever have those days where you just can’t avoid nicking yourself on stuff all over the house? Stub a toe here, trip over a wire there, bump your head getting into the car? Welcome to Timofey Mozgov’s 2016 season. Unfortunately for Mozzy, the Lakers’ recent win streak kind of/sort of/but not really/but still coincides with things coming into contact with his face.

On Tuesday’s episode of Locked on Lakers, Jordan Clarkson told Harrison Faigen this is no new trend for the Lakers’ recently-signed center. Mozgov’s face has basically carried a bullseye from day one, which is probably pretty annoying for him, but hilarious for just about everyone else.

(Important note: It’s only funny so long as he doesn’t deal with concussion issues. Then, Roger Goodell covers everything up.)

Here’s Clarkson on his teammate’s annoying, unfortunate little issue:

"He's been getting hit in the head since the first day of training camp. Timofey's head just attracts, it's just like a magnet. I don't know what it is, it's crazy, because he got hit in the head today again by Julius. When we was running five-on-0, there was no defense."

If you didn’t chuckle at that last part, I’m a little concerned for your sense of humor. Scott Sterling would be proud.
