Lakers News: Even Luke Walton had 3-1 jokes after the Indians lost to the Cubs

Yes, he appears to be aware of NBA Twitter's favorite joke

In case you missed it, the 73-win 2015-16 Golden State Warriors lost in the NBA Finals after blowing a 3-1 lead. They were the first team ever to do so.

It was about a dramatic of a collapse as has been seen in sports, featuring cold shooting, mouthguard throwing, and nut-slapping suspensions as the Warriors historic season ended with a whimper instead of the title so many had preordained for them.

It was also probably incredibly painful for the people involved, a group in which Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton is included. The former Warriors assistant not only had to sit and watch as his team made the worst kind of history, but then had to endure jokes at the club's expense over the entire offseason.

All of this is relevant, because Walton had jokes once it looked like the Cleveland Indians were blowing a 3-1 lead in the World series:

The Indians did go on to ultimately lose, and Cleveland's new 3-1 lead curse has officially begun.
