Los Angeles Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram participated in the team’s practice on Saturday after missing the second half of the team’s Friday night loss to the Utah Jazz with a knee injury, according to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com. Walton told Trudell he would make the final decision on whether or not Ingram could play on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder after he consulted with the team’s trainers.
Also possibly returning to the lineup for Los Angeles is offseason acquisition Jose Calderon. Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News reports that Calderon has been listed as “probable to play on Sunday” by the Lakers. The 11-year veteran has missed the team’s first two regular season games with a calf injury.
How much run either player will get against the Thunder remains an open question as they work their way back from their respective maladies, but it appears that the Lakers might have their full roster at their disposal for the first time this season.
