Daily News that he was hoping for cheers and Lakers fans delivered, serenading the young guard even though he tossed the first pitch juuuust a bit outside.

That is a much warmer reception than the boos L.A. native, former Boston Celtic, and now Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce received when tossing out the first pitch at Chavez Ravine, serving as the latest example that Los Angeles is still a Lakers-centric town.
