Carlos Boozer and Jordan Hill have started many games for the Lakers this season. The veteran duo both received DNP- Coach's Decisions in the Lakers loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. After the game, Carlos Boozer explained why:
Here we go: Boozer said he was told by Byron he'd sit out "four or five games" along with Jordan Hill so the Lakers can evaluate young guys.— Mike Bresnahan (@Mike_Bresnahan) March 25, 2015
That is surely disappointing for Boozer and Hill, but both seemed to take their benchings in stride, with Boozer being especially active celebrating his teammates' successes from the bench.
Oh, and the young guys the Lakers want to evaluate?
Jordan Clarkson: Career high 30 points, 7 assists, and 3 blocks
Ryan Kelly: 16 points, 2-4 on threes in his return to the power forward slot.
Evaluation: The kids are all right.
