Nick Young's MRI Show Small Fracture in Knee

After a slight delay because the MRI results were misplaced, the Lakers announced that Young will miss at least a week.

Another day, another Lakers injury announced.

In what has become an increasingly familiar scene over the past few seasons, the Lakers released a statement that Nick Young's MRI had revealed a small fracture in his left knee, and that he would be re-evaluated in one week.

Young, who is averaging 13.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1 assist while shooting 36.6% from the field, will be missed due to the Lakers lacking wing depth.

While not technically a "season-ending injury", given that Young has missed the Lakers previous 10 games, combined with the necessary time he would need to get himself back into NBA game shape, it is looking more and more likely that Swaggy P will not make a return to the court this season.

Hopefully Nick gets well soon, but if not, at least he got to go shopping with 2 Chainz.
