Lakers vs. Magic recap: Lakers' offense collapses in 103-97 loss

The Lakers started off hot but melted down to from the fourth quarter onward.

The Los Angeles Lakers fell apart in a 103-97 overtime loss to the Orlando Magic. The Lakers led by as many as 14 points, but scoring struggles in the fourth quarter (13 points total) let the Magic back in the game. Orlando's first lead came in overtime, and the Lakers' offense looked discombobulated throughout extra time.

Ryan Kelly went off in the third quarter, scoring 15 points while making all four of his three-point attempts. He's had a slow year after showing plenty of promise last season, but it was one of the best stretches of basketball Kelly has played all year. Kelly's big quarter was the final flash in the pan for Los Angeles.

Tobias Harris had a big game, scoring a season-high 34 points, lighting up the Lakers defense. Nikola Vucevic put in 25 points while pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson once again looked solid as a starter. He showed off his turbo-button speed and ability to create easy shots once he pushed the pace. Jeremy Lin scored 14 points on six-of-eight shooting off the bench, while Ronnie Price absorbed a DNP-Coach's Decision for the night.

What looked like a rare road victory turned into roadkill, and the Lakers head to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers on Sunday.
