Injury Report: Young Out vs. Utah, Price to Miss Rest of Season

The Lakers injury woes continue this season, with Ronnie Price and Nick Young the latest Lakers to miss time.

Nick Young will miss tonight's game vs Utah, the team announced. Young was reported to have some swelling in his knee after the Lakers overtime win against the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Averaging 13.4 points in 23.8 minutes, Young's absence leaves the team down to just Jordan Clarkson, Jeremy Lin, and Wayne Ellington in the backcourt, all of whom will likely now see major minutes tonight and going forward.

The team also announced Ronnie Price's surgery for his elbow injury was a success, with Byron Scott stating that the point guard will miss the rest of the season. With all of these injuries to their guards, the Lakers will likely look to sign some reinforcements soon, either out of the D-League or more established veteran options.
