Ronnie Price will have surgery to remove a bone spur in his elbow, the team announced Tuesday:
Injury Update: Ronnie Price is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow morning to remove a bone spur from his right elbow.
— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) February 24, 2015
While the team did not give a specific timetable, head coach Byron Scott told the media he expects Price to miss the remainder of the team's 2014-15 season.
Byron also said Ronnie Price (elbow) will be out for the season following surgery tomorrow.

Price's production on the court (5.1 points, 3.1 assists per game in 22.8 minutes) was meager, but the 9 year veteran was mostly on the team for his defensive abilities and to teach the younger players his professionalism. In his stead, expect Jordan Clarkson and Jeremy Lin to see a minutes increase. Pending the recovery timetable provided after his surgery tomorrow, the Lakers may also seek to add another point guard to the roster as injury insurance or for an extended audition as the season winds down.
