Lakers fans have been eagerly awaiting any form of good news in a season filled with so much misfortune and ugly play, and Julius Randle can finally give them some. The rookie made an appearance at Lakers shoot around this morning and had this rehabilitation update to give Bill Oram of the Orange County Register:

Randle getting to cast off his walking boot is great news. The Lakers have already declared Randle out for the season, so it is not like this changes his recovery and expected debut time much, but it is good to hear that the young man's rehab is progressing. The sooner he is back on the court making plays like this the better:
