Celtics give Kobe Bryant a piece of hardwood history from 2010 NBA Finals as retirement gift

Kobe Bryant's memorabilia collection is going to be incredible by the end of the season.

Kobe Bryant's final stop in Boston is one of the major events of his farewell tour, and the Celtics are sending him off with a piece of hardwood history to take home. Literally. The Celtics presented Kobe with a slab of their famed parquet floor as a parting gift, via the Celtics official Twitter account:

Not a bad piece of basketball history to have in the collection at all.
