'Several' Lakers got into a 'verbal altercation' during loss to Nuggets

In case you have been living under a rock and missed it, the Los Angeles Lakers have strugggled out of the gates to begin the 2015-16 season. The team is shooting just 40.4% from the field and losing by an average of 10 points per night, not exactly indicators of success. D'Angelo Russell is confused about his role and being benched down the stretch of games, Kobe Bryant is shooting 32.3% from the field and telling the media he sucks, and confusing rotations and minutes management have left many fans livid with coach Byron Scott. A fun, who cares about the results as long as the young guys are growing romp it is not.

The team is frustrated as well. Scott told media after the team practiced on Wednesday that "several Lakers got into a verbal altercation" in the fourth quarter of the teams' loss to the Denver Nuggets, according to Bill Oram of the OC Register. Scott additionally mentioned that he liked the combativeness rather than the team being happy with losing. He declined to name the players involved, but did mention one notable player was not involved:

Julius Randle also claimed to not know anything:

It is understandable there would be tension among the players after such a disappointing and dispiriting start to the team's season, but arguments happen all the time in the NBA. This is probably not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
