D'Angelo Russell took a hard foul during the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason game against the Utah Jazz and had to be helped off the court after spending an extended time down on the floor gathering himself. Lakers sideline reporter Mike Trudell reported that Russell suffered a bruised glut during in the fall, which you can see here:
He is expected to be able to play through the injury and can return in the game against Utah.
