Lakers Injury Report: Clarkson full participant in practice, Kobe shoots but does not practice

The Los Angeles Lakers practiced on Saturday after a day off on Friday, and Jordan Clarkson was a full participant. Clarkson injured his shoulder and was forced to leave the Lakers' loss to the Golden State Warriors midway through the second quarter on Thursday night. Clarkson initially described the injury as "a real sharp pain" but also called it "minor", told Mike Bresnahan of the L.A. Times that "he strained two muscles behind his rotator cuff." Clarkson also said that while there was pain in the shoulder during practice, it had decreased "drastically," according to Shahan Ahmed of NBC Los Angeles. He is now listed as day-to-day, but expects to play in the Lakers' season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Lakers' other injured guard, Kobe Bryant, has missed nearly two weeks with what the team has listed as a bruised lower leg. According to Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News, Bryant got treatment Saturday and did some shooting but was not a full participant in practice.
