The Los Angeles Lakers went to Pechanga Resort and Casino Wednesday in Temecula on Wednesday night for a Fundraiser for the Lakers Youth Foundation before the team closes out it's preseason against the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Thursday night. With the defending champions in town, it is only fitting someone involved with the Lakers was flashing a bit of jewelry of their own from the purple and gold's last time as a contender. The Lakers last run of titles came when Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol led the team to back-to-back championships in 2009 and 2010.
The reason all of this is relevant is that Lakers rookie Larry Nance, Jr. posted a picture of a 2009 championship ring on Twitter Wednesday night. Which begs the question: what member of the organization was passing around a 15 karat gold ring with more than 14 encrusted diamonds?
Now that's a little motivation... pic.twitter.com/n0nMFJ3Juh

Kobe Bryant is the only current player on the team that won a ring in 2009, and via the Lakers' Instagram account, we may have a picture of Bryant passing Nance the jewelry:
DID KOBE LOSE HIS RING IN A POKER GAME TO LARRY NANCE, JR??? No. In fact, multiple members of the organization and ownership have those rings, and it could have been any of theirs. The most important note from all of this? We now have confirmation Kobe has met Nance, Jr. in Temecula.
