Since Jerry Buss acquired the team, the Los Angeles Lakers and the celebrity culture of Southern California have been inseparably intertwined. From Jack Nicholson sitting courtside to the Red Hot Chili Peppers having multiple songs referencing the team and its players, celebrities and the Lakers go together like peanut butter and chocolate. For this reason it has never been a surprise to see players photographed with celebrities off the court, and Tuesday night served as the latest example.
D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle have not been L.A. natives for very long, but it seems like two of the Lakers' young players are already on the best guest lists in the city. With the Lakers not playing again until Thursday, it looks like the two decided to go out on Tuesday night, and Randle posted a photo of himself and Russell (sans his new braids) at a birthday celebration for rapper and Lakers fan Snoop Dogg:
Someone clearly forgot to tell Julius they were not planning to smile. Poor communication from the young Lakers.
