News of Lamar Odom's hospitalization hit home for the Los Angeles Lakers, who were in Las Vegas for a preseason game, not far from where Odom was transported to. Kobe Bryant checked out of the Lakers' game early after suffering a bruised left lower-leg, then left the arena early for "personal reasons." Bryant went to Sunrise hospital in Las Vegas to visit Odom, reports Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News. Mitch Kupchak was also among Lakers who visited him, and the team's flight out of Vegas was delayed two hours, in part due to members of the organization going to his side.

Odom was found unresponsive in Nevada Tuesday afternoon when an emergency call was placed at 3:16 p.m..

NBA players from around the league -- not just former teammates -- have outpoured their love and support for Odom as news of his hospitalization circulated. His Lakers family may have been there in the flesh, but prayers for his recovery came from everywhere in the league.

Here are just some of the thoughts that went out to Odom:

Our thoughts and prayers here at Silver Screen and Roll are with Lamar Odom, and his friends and family.
