We're getting ready for a brand new season of Los Angeles Lakers basketball, so to count down the days we'll be looking at the best Lakers to wear the number. We'll continue at 18 days until the regular season begins, with a pure shooter from Slovenia.
Who wore it the best: Sasha Vujacic

Sasha Vujavic was selected with the 27th pick in the 2004 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Primarily serving at the backup shooting guard behind Kobe Bryant, Sasha saw his best year in a Lakers uniform during the 2007-08 season, when he saw his most minutes per game (17.8). That season, Sasha broke the Lakers franchise record of best 3pt% throughout the season: 43.7%.
Besides for his head band that he wore and the infamous elbow he threw at Goran Dragic, Sasha will be remembered most for the two clutch free throws that he hit in game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals with 11 seconds remaining in the game. Those two free throws pretty much sealed the game and the Championship for the Lakers that year. Sasha is currently under contract with the New York Knicks for the upcoming 2015-16 NBA season, playing under former Laker coach Phil Jackson, and Laker teammate Derek Fisher.
