D'Angelo Russell looks smooth hitting this pull-up jumper in training camp

Russell is hitting pull-ups with the calm and poise of a veteran.

The big news to come out of Los Angeles Lakers' training camp on Thursday was the "minor" bone bruise suffered by D'Angelo Russell. But before the "limped off the court after practice" according to the LA Times' Mike Bresnahan, he looked pretty good in the team's scrimmage.

Via Mark Medina of the LA Daily News' Tout, here is Russell hitting fellow rookie Marcelo Huertas with an effortless crossover before knocking down a quick release mid-range jumper. No wonder Lou Williams was so impressed with Russell's performance:

Those are the kinds of shots that were not falling for Russell during Las Vegas Summer League, so hopefully his injury is as minor as the team is making it out to be and he can show us similar moves in high definition when the preseason begins against the Utah Jazz in Hawaii on Sunday.
