Kobe Bryant Sighted at Paintball Park

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

In the wake of the news of Kobe Bryant's torn rotator cuff, the atmosphere around the Lakers has been reminiscent of a funeral. The good news: Kobe is not dead! He was even feeling well enough to make an appearance at Hollywood Sports Paintball & Airsoft Park on Saturday. From UFC fighter Anderson Silva's Instagram account:

Bryant feeling up to visiting a paintball park should be no surprise, given that he attempted to play in an NBA game with only one functioning arm (yes, somehow that really happened). It's good to see Kobe in good spirits despite his sad injury news, and hopefully the sight of it is enough to stop fans from walking around like their dog just died.

Like Chad Ford, we here at Silver Screen and Roll strive for the utmost accuracy in our articles, even after they are published. Per Vanessa Bryant's Instagram account, it appears Kobe was at the paintball park for his daughter Natalia's Hunger Games themed 12th birthday party, hence his t-shirt in the above picture.

No word yet on whether Kobe is #TeamPeeta or #TeamGale, but we will keep you posted.
