Lakers @ Spurs Live Game Thread

The LA Lakers (12-31) play against the San Antonio Spurs (27-17) tonight at the AT&T Center. Tip off is set for 5:30 pm PST.

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight, the LA Lakers will take on the San Antonio Spurs in their first game after learning that Kobe Bryant will most likely be shut down for the season after suffering a torn rotator cuff in Wednesdays game against the Pelicans. For the first time in quite a while, the Spurs are fully healthy, but there is no way to determine who and when Popovich will choose to rest. The Lakers will be without Kobe Bryant (torn rotator cuff) & Tarik Black (sprained ankle), while Steve Nash & Julius Randle have been ruled out for the season. For a more in depth summary of tonight's match up, check out the game preview: Lakers @ Spurs Preview. Here are tonight's projected starters:

Los Angeles Lakers San Antonio Spurs
PG Jordan Clarkson Tony Parker
SG Wayne Ellington Danny Green
SF Ryan Kelly Kawhi Leonard
PF Jordan Hill Tim Duncan
C Robert Sacre Tiago Splitter

Your drinking triggers for tonight include anyone mentioning:

  • Kobe's rotator cuff.
  • Kawhi recently returning from a hand injury.
  • The Lakers adjusted starting lineup.
  • Kobe being voted in as an All-Star starter.
  • Hollywood Night jerseys.
