After a career-best campaign, with averages of 15.7 points per game on 46.3% shooting and 40.1% from three-point range, Los Angeles Lakers free agent shooting guard Jodie Meeks has reportedly agreed to terms on a three-year, approximately $19 million contract with the Detroit Pistons, per Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:

After being one of the few bright spots for the Lakers last year (notably his career high 42 points against Oklahoma City), Meeks is now heading to a Detroit team in desperate need of shooting around Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings, and Greg Monroe. The Kentucky product is the first signing for new personnel boss Stan Van Gundy.
Three years at $19 million is still probably above market rate for Meeks even with his improvements, which was likely why the two sides were able to come to terms so quickly before any of the larger free agency dominoes had fallen.
