Lakers vs Kings Live Game Thread

The LA Lakers (5-16) host the Sacramento Kings (11-10) tonight at the Staples Center. Tip off is set for 7:30 pm PST.

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight, the LA Lakers will host the Sacramento Kings in a home game before heading out on the road. The Kings will be without their on-court leader DeMarcus Cousins, who is still fighting viral meningitis. This may be one of the few winnable games that the Lakers have on their schedule for the rest of December. The Lakers will be without Ryan Kelly (torn hamstring), while Xavier Henry, Steve Nash & Julius Randle have all been ruled out for the season. For a more in depth summary of tonight's match up, check out the game preview: Lakers vs Kings Preview. Here are tonight's projected starters:

Los Angeles Lakers Sacramento Kings
PG Ronnie Price Darren Collison
SG Kobe Bryant Ben McLemore
SF Wesley Johnson Rudy Gay
PF Ed Davis Jason Thompson
C Jordan Hill
Reggie Evans

Your drinking triggers for tonight include anyone mentioning:

  • The Titanic.
  • Kobe and retirement.
  • Magic Johnson wanting the Lakers to lose.
  • Former Laker Ramon Sessions.
  • Changes to the starting lineup.
